SWAGLY Youth Group presents Pride Worcester Beyond Acceptance Queer Ball.

Beyond Acceptance, Queer Youth Drag Ball will be a queer youth drag wear themed dance for youth 18+. This event seeks to provide a brave space to celebrate all queer identities and embrace queer youth in a supportive and loving community pride event.

Many LGBTQIA+ folks too often experienced a sense of not belonging at their dances in traditional school or college settings. This event allows these queer folks to experience this coming-of-age and self-expression adventure in a supportive and inclusive environment. It is the hope that while we work on making it safer and more inclusive at the traditional school events this event could serve as an alternative to ensure that no queer youth misses out on this experience. Additionally, it gives youth space to express their identities in their most authentic form unapologetically.
